The Amazon River is one of the Atlantic Ocean’s great influences.  Twenty-five years after his father’s famous expedition to the world’s largest river, Jean-Michel returns to the Amazon to explore this vast ecosystem, discovering exotic creatures, documenting the effects of deforestation and dwindling natural resources, and visiting the people who make the banks of the Amazon their home.
