Based on Dickens classic novel The Old Curiosity Shop tells the tale of Little Nell Trent who lives with her doting grandfather in his London shop known as The Old Curiosity Shop, unaware that her grandfather has a ruinous gambling addiction that has left them nearly penniless and on the run from a loan shark. The pair fall in with a number of colorful characters, some villainous and some affectionate in a tragic and heartbreaking journey.
